Hon. Adegbite Isaac Adeeyo has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Engr. Muftau Open Salawu on his emergence as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for the 2027 Oyo State Governorship Election.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Adeeyo described Engr. Salawu as an erudite engineer, pragmatic administrator, committed Muslim, community-driven leader, and a devoted family man whose emergence reflects his political relevance, integrity, and remarkable contributions to society.
He noted that Engr. Salawu’s humanitarian gestures and commitment to community development have earned him widespread respect across Ogbomoso and beyond. According to him, despite being a devout Muslim, Engr. Salawu demonstrated remarkable religious tolerance and commitment to peaceful coexistence by donating a Sienna Bus to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ogbomoso Zone, while also supporting the construction of several mosques across Ogbomoso.
Hon. Adeeyo further acknowledged Engr. Salawu’s consistent financial and moral support towards developmental initiatives in Ogbomoso, describing his contributions to the growth and progress of the community as significant and impactful.
He stated that the emergence of Engr. Salawu as the Deputy Governorship Candidate is a welcome development for the people of Ogbomoso Zone, considering his deep-rooted connection, unquestionable pedigree, and commitment to the advancement of the town.
Hon. Adeeyo also appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for considering Ogbomoso Zone worthy of occupying such an important political position, describing it as a recognition of the zone’s importance in the socio-political development of Oyo State.
He expressed confidence that Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, the APM Governorship Candidate in Oyo State, would greatly benefit from Engr. Salawu’s experience, humility, and dedication to service in the administration if elected.
He prayed for a successful political journey and wished Engr. Muftau Open Salawu greater accomplishments in his service to humanity.
