President of the Ogbomoso First Group, Architect Sakiru Akionla Suara, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, and other traditional rulers across Ogbomoso Zone following the successful rescue of the pupils and teachers abducted from Esiele Community High School and Yawota Primary School in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Suara described the rescue of the victims as a landmark achievement that has brought immense relief to their families, the people of Ogbomoso, and Oyo State at large after weeks of anxiety and uncertainty.

He commended President Tinubu and Governor Makinde for providing the political will and unwavering support that strengthened the operations of the nation’s security agencies, leading to the successful rescue of the victims. According to him, the effective collaboration between the Federal Government and the Oyo State Government demonstrated that a united approach remains the most potent weapon against insecurity.
The Ogbomoso First Group president also applauded the military, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force, and other security agencies for their professionalism, courage, resilience, and determination throughout the operation. He noted that their persistence and sacrifice culminated in the safe release of the abducted pupils and teachers.
Suara expressed delight over the reunion of the victims with their parents, guardians, and relatives, describing it as a moment of celebration for every peace-loving Nigerian. He prayed for the speedy physical, emotional, and psychological recovery of the rescued pupils and teachers and urged the relevant authorities to provide them with adequate medical care, counselling, and rehabilitation to ease their reintegration into normal life.
He equally paid glowing tribute to the Soun of Ogbomosoland and other royal fathers across Ogbomoso Zone for standing firmly with the affected families, offering prayers, mobilising community support, and complementing government efforts throughout the period of the victims’ captivity.
Suara, however, urged all traditional rulers in Ogbomoso Zone to deepen their collaboration and maintain a common front in tackling emerging security challenges. He stressed that stronger cooperation among monarchs, community leaders, security agencies, and residents would enhance intelligence gathering and community policing.
According to him, sustained unity, vigilance, and a shared spirit of camaraderie among all stakeholders are essential to ensuring that Ogbomoso Zone remains impenetrable to external invaders, criminal elements, and enemies within, while preserving the peace, security, and prosperity of the region.
