Oyo State’s political landscape has witnessed another significant development following the resignation of Honourable Ogunwuyi Segun Ebenezer, PhD, as Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, effective Monday, October 12, 2026.
In his resignation letter dated October 12, Ogunwuyi expressed appreciation to the governor for the opportunity to serve the government and people of Oyo State, describing his tenure as an honourable and fulfilling experience.
He commended the collective efforts of members of the administration in advancing the growth, development and prosperity of the state, while expressing confidence in Oyo State’s continued progress.
