The Ejide Islamic Foundation, in collaboration with the Islamic Brotherhood of Nigeria (ISBON), has announced plans to host the 30th edition of its annual Laylatul Qadr programme in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
According to the organisers, the spiritually significant event will take place on the 27th night of Ramadan, corresponding with Sunday, March 16, 2026, at the Ejide Central Mosque, Ogbomoso.

The overnight spiritual gathering is scheduled to commence at 10:00 p.m. and continue until the early hours of dawn. The programme is expected to attract Muslim faithful from within Ogbomoso and neighbouring communities who will converge to observe Laylatul Qadr, regarded in Islam as one of the most sacred and spiritually rewarding nights of the holy month of Ramadan.
Activities lined up for the night include the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, inspirational Islamic lectures, supplications, and special prayers aimed at deepening spiritual reflection, devotion, and supplication to Almighty Allah.
The organisers also disclosed that Sahur (pre-dawn meal) will be provided for participants, Insha Allah, to support worshippers throughout the night-long spiritual exercise and enable them to observe the fast of the following day.
They further called on Muslim faithful to take advantage of the unique opportunity presented by Laylatul Qadr, a night described in the Holy Qur’an as being “better than a thousand months,” to seek forgiveness, divine mercy, and spiritual renewal.
