The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates, bringing an end to weeks of anticipation among thousands of candidates across Nigeria.
In a statement announcing the release, the examination body said candidates can check their results through its official online result-checking portal using their examination numbers and valid result-checking PINs.
WAEC explained that the release followed the successful completion of the marking, collation, and processing of examination scripts from centres nationwide.
The Council urged candidates to verify their results only through its official channels and cautioned them against fraudsters who may seek to exploit the result-release process.
