Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has reaffirmed his ambition to win more trophies and reach the historic milestone of 1,000 career goals.
The Al Nassr forward made the declaration on Sunday at the 16th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, held in Dubai, where he spoke about his enduring passion for the game and determination to keep competing at the highest level.
“I want more titles, and I will reach that number,” Ronaldo said. “It is hard to continue to play, but the passion is still high and motivates me to carry on. It does not matter where I play, whether in the Middle East or Europe, I always enjoy playing football—to win trophies and to score goals. I want to win more trophies and to reach that number you all know. I will reach 1,000 for sure if there are no injuries.”
Ronaldo’s comments underline his relentless drive despite an already illustrious career that includes multiple league titles, UEFA Champions League trophies, domestic cups, and major international honours.
