The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has presented its Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form to its candidate for the Ogbomoso South State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly ahead of the forthcoming election.
The presentation took place at the party’s Oyo State Secretariat, where the candidate officially received the nomination form, confirming the party’s endorsement to contest the state legislative election.
Speaking shortly after receiving the form, the ADC candidate, Booda Sunday Adeyemo expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party for the confidence reposed in him, describing the nomination as a privilege and a call to greater responsibility.
He also appreciated the people of Ogbomoso South Constituency for their steadfast support, encouragement, and unwavering belief in his vision for the constituency.
According to him, the nomination represents more than a personal milestone, stressing that it is a commitment to selfless service, responsible leadership, and the pursuit of sustainable development for the people of Ogbomoso South.
The candidate pledged to provide quality representation at the Oyo State House of Assembly if elected, promising to champion people-oriented legislation and policies that would positively impact the lives of his constituents.
He identified youth empowerment, improved education, infrastructure development, and inclusive community growth as key priorities of his legislative agenda.
Reaffirming his commitment to the progress of Ogbomoso South, the ADC standard-bearer called on residents to sustain their support and cooperation, expressing confidence that together they could build a more prosperous and progressive constituency.
He added that, with God’s guidance and the continued backing of the electorate, he remains committed to delivering purposeful representation and advancing the collective aspirations of the people of Ogbomoso South.
