With gratitude to God for a life well spent, the Ìsúdé and Òkè Áájé families of Ogbomoso announce the passing of their beloved matriarch, Madam Ruth Jádesólá Àlàgbé. She departed peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the ripe age of 98.
Until her passing, Madam Jádesólá was a renowned kolanut trader and a gifted confectioner of indigenous delicacies such as Àkàrà Róbó, Sèèké, and Atúúnú. She was widely respected for her quiet strength, industrious nature, and dignified demeanor.

She was the wife of the late Pa John Babátúndé Àlàgbé, a notable transporter and farmer, popularly known as Eyónú Síwa of Ilé Ìsúdé fame, in the Oke Áájé–Exchange area of Ogbomoso.
Madam Ruth Jádesólá Àlàgbé is survived by numerous children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who continue to uphold her legacy.
