The family of Olanipekun and the entire Methodist Church Nigeria community announce the commencement of the final rites of passage for their matriarch, Mama Felicia Mobolaji Ayinke Olanipekun, fondly known as Mama Teacher and Iya Ijo of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Ita Alaasa, Ogbomoso.
Mama Olanipekun, who peacefully departed this life at the venerable age of 91, was the beloved mother of distinguished administrator and legal luminary, Lawyer Yinka Olanipekun.
The Service of Songs in her honor will hold on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Arowomole, Ogbomoso, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This will be followed by the Burial Service scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2025, at the same church, beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Following the burial and interment rites, guests will be entertained at a reception to be held at Sajeet Civil Centre, situated behind Siktiam Hotel, Oke-Owóde, Ogbomoso.
Mama Felicia Mobolaji Ayinke Olanipekun is celebrated as a woman of deep faith, unwavering virtue, and remarkable impact, whose life was dedicated to service, education, and the uplifting of her community. Her memory remains a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
