The Deputy Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Oyo State, Mr. Olatinwo Gafari Kolapo, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management of Nigeria (CIHRM). His induction has been hailed as a testament to his visionary leadership and strategic approach to human capital development.

This was disclosed in a statement released to the press in Lagos on Saturday by the institute.
According to the statement, Mr. Olatinwo is a seasoned strategist and dedicated human resource professional with extensive experience spanning both public and private sectors.
“Mr. Olatinwo is a visionary leader whose outstanding contributions to public administration—especially during his service at the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State, and now at the Federal Polytechnic Ayede—have left an indelible impact on academic institutions and the wider society,” the statement read.
The institute highlighted his deep expertise, practical experience, and commitment to creating positive work environments that drive organizational success, describing him as both a thought leader and an innovator in the field of human resource management.
The statement further noted that Mr. Olatinwo has demonstrated unwavering passion for sustainable development and nation-building through initiatives that promote employee engagement, motivation, and productivity.
“His capacity to set organizational goals, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback has positioned him as an inspiring leader who motivates and leads high-performing teams,” it added.
The institute emphasized that Mr. Olatinwo’s strong academic and professional background makes him well-suited for his current role as Deputy Registrar. It described him as a consummate professional driven by a passion for continuous growth and staff development, noting his leadership in numerous transformational projects and initiatives.
Mr. Olatinwo holds two Bachelor of Science degrees—one in Public Administration from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and another in Education Studies from Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun State. He also earned a Master’s degree from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and possesses several other professional certifications.
“His dedication to education and social development underscores his commitment to promoting academic excellence and strengthening human resource practices in Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
In his remarks, Mr. Olatinwo expressed profound gratitude to the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Hon. Yakubu Dati (FNIPR); the Rector, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed (FNSE); and the Registrar, Mr. Akin Odesola, for fostering a supportive and enabling environment that encourages staff innovation, growth, and excellence.
