Prince Timothy Oyedokun, the Executive Chairman of the Ogbomoso South Local Government Council, has sent his sincere appreciation to his political partners, royal fathers, political leaders, and devoted followers for their unwavering support throughout the years. During a recent interview with him at his home, Prince Oyedokun made a passionate remark in which he reiterated his commitment to putting his people’s welfare first in 2025.
He highlighted his goals for the year, including important projects to support widows and widowers, empower young people through skill-building programmes, and meet urgent community needs. Installing solar lights in high-crime prone areas, leveling shabby community roads, caring for widows and elderly people, providing financial aid to exceptional students, and cultivating cordial ties with royal fathers within the council area are all part of his plan. In his words, Prince Oyedokun stated that “I cannot but attribute my achievement to my people’s prayers, smart advise, and constant support”. According to Prince Oyedokun, they have supported me like the Rock of Gibraltar, allowing us to accomplish previously unheard-of advancements throughout our local government”.

“Human beings are my clothing; without their support, I would not have achieved what I have,” he said, attributing his achievements to the combined efforts of political leaders, traditional rulers, party members, and allies.
In order to establish Ogbomoso South Local Government as a role model for other local governments in Oyo State, the Council Chairman promised to double his efforts in 2025 and make use of all available resources. He reassured young people that his administration was prepared to give them useful skills for independence and urged them to avoid vices that could ruin their futures.
The Council Boss issued a call to action, urging wealthy members of the local government to make significant contributions to community development through donations and worthwhile initiatives. “The government cannot meet all the people’s needs on its own,” he said, promising credit for such donations. The time has come for those of us who are wealthy to take action and change things. They will have their names inscribed in gold, and their labor will not go amiss.
Prince Oyedokun expressed his appreciation once more to his supporters and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), whose cooperation has been essential to the achievements of his administration. He promised to make sure Ogbomoso South Local Government remains a thriving example of growth and advancement for everyone as he sets out on the path of 2025.
