A political icon and the Ladilu of Oyo, Chief Bisi Ilaka, has called on the people of Oyo State to actively register their membership with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as part of efforts to build a formidable political platform capable of transforming Nigeria’s socio-economic landscape.

Chief Ilaka made the call while encouraging citizens across the state to become committed members and builders of what he described as one of the most idealistic and progressive political parties in the country.
According to him, the move is aimed at strengthening a party that is committed to building a more inclusive, resilient, productive and sustainable socio-economic system that will ease tensions and eliminate poverty and deprivation among Nigerians.
He stressed that by joining the ADC, citizens would have the opportunity to actively participate in shaping national policies, promoting democratic values and supporting people-oriented leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the masses.
Chief Ilaka further described the ADC as a transparent and liberation-driven political platform that will remain steadfast in fulfilling its electoral promises and repositioning Nigeria on the path of progress and prosperity.
He noted that the party is determined to pursue policies that will generate enormous wealth and ensure balanced national development in critical sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, power supply, motorable roads and modern high technology comparable with global standards in developed nations.
The Ladilu of Oyo therefore urged all residents of Oyo State — including elders, professionals, women and the vibrant youth — to take advantage of the opportunity to formally register as members of the party.
He emphasized that meaningful participation in Nigeria’s political future requires active involvement in credible political platforms.
Chief Ilaka advised interested citizens to complete their membership registration by visiting www.adcregistration.ng, noting that collective participation is essential for building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
