The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a strong warning to applicants participating in its ongoing recruitment exercise to beware of fraudulent emails and text messages falsely claiming to be from the Board.
In a statement released on Friday, the CDCFIB clarified that it does not send email or SMS notifications to applicants, urging all candidates to verify their application status exclusively through the official recruitment portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

The statement further explained that shortlisted candidates must log into the portal to update their profiles and print their examination slips directly from the website.
Applicants were also advised to:
Report any discrepancies immediately via the CDCFIB Support Portal.
Confirm that all details on their printed slips correspond with their registration information.
Dress appropriately and conduct themselves in an orderly manner during the exercise.
The Board emphasized that it does not issue offline printouts, warning that any document not generated or printed from the official portal will be considered invalid.
Additionally, candidates were cautioned against sharing or posting their invitation printouts online, as such documents are non-transferable. The Board warned that violators would face strict disciplinary measures.
The CDCFIB reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent, fair, and credible recruitment process that upholds integrity and meritocracy.
