The ANFANI 4ALL Foundation has expanded its non-interest soft loan scheme to cover all 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State, extending economic support to more women traders and small business owners across the state.
The initiative, founded by Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka, the Ladilu of Oyo Kingdom, is aimed at empowering grassroots entrepreneurs by providing interest-free loans to help grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
In a statement issued by the foundation, the expansion was described as a significant milestone in its economic empowerment programme, reflecting Chief Ilaka’s longstanding commitment to humanity, community development, and inclusive economic growth.
The foundation noted that Chief Ilaka has, over the years, distinguished himself through philanthropy, youth empowerment, human capital development, and various social welfare interventions that have positively impacted many lives across Oyo State and beyond.
According to the coordinators, the scheme is designed to provide accessible, interest-free loans to traders, market women, and small-scale entrepreneurs without the burden of commercial lending rates.
They said the initiative seeks to strengthen local businesses, improve household incomes, stimulate grassroots economic activities, and promote sustainable financial independence among beneficiaries.
The foundation stressed that empowering women economically remains one of the most effective ways of building stronger families, vibrant communities, and a more prosperous Oyo State.
It added that the programme reflects a leadership philosophy focused on creating real opportunities, restoring dignity, and transforming lives through practical interventions rather than rhetoric.
Describing Chief Ilaka as a leader committed to making meaningful impact, the statement said he believes that true leadership is measured by the positive difference it makes in the lives of ordinary people.
