The President of the Ogbomoso First Group, Architect Sakiru Akionla Suara, has called on Muslims across Nigeria to uphold the spiritual lessons of Ramadan beyond the holy month.
In an Eid al-Fitr message congratulating the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the 30-day fast, Suara expressed joy in celebrating the festival, describing it as a symbol of faith, discipline, and devotion to Almighty Allah.

He noted that the period of Ramadan, marked by fasting, prayers, and charity, reflects values of compassion, humility, patience, and unity. According to him, these virtues should not end with the season but continue to guide individuals and strengthen national cohesion.
Suara further urged Muslims to use the spirit of Eid to promote peace, extend support to the less privileged, and reject all forms of division. He emphasized the need for collective efforts toward building a just, equitable, and prosperous Nigeria.
He also prayed for the acceptance of عبادah (acts of worship), forgiveness of shortcomings, and Allah’s mercy upon all believers and their families. The Ogbomoso leader equally sought divine intervention for lasting peace, security, and progress in the country.
Suara wished Muslims a joyful Eid celebration, filled with renewed hope, good health, and abundant blessings, while encouraging unity and mutual understanding among all Nigerians.
“Eid Mubarak! Eid Sa’id!” he concluded.
