The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Branch, has felicitated with the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olatunde Rom Kalilu, on the occasion of his birthday today, August 14, 2025.
In a goodwill message signed by its Chairperson, Engr. Olujimi Dada, Ph.D., the union lauded Prof. Kalilu’s leadership, particularly his dedication to the welfare and professional development of academic staff.
“As academic staff, we appreciate your leadership and commitment to our members’ welfare and professional needs. Your administration has created an environment where academic excellence and staff well-being are given priority,” the statement read.
ASUU LAUTECH further prayed for renewed strength, good health, wisdom, and greater achievements for the Vice-Chancellor in his service to the university and the wider academic community.
“Happy birthday, Sir, and many happy returns,” the statement concluded.
